Bose Stereo Replacement

The BOSE deck, BOSE rear boxes, and the new Alpine CDA-7837 still in the box.

The remote controlled CDA-7837 CD Receiver in the dash.

The deck powered on.

Removed most of the Vette interior.

Installing Alpine MRP-T406 and 3522 amps. I am not using the deck's built-in power.

Cleaned up the amp underseat wiring. I ran heavy speaker wire to all 4 speakers

Made custom mounting brackets for the front 6.5" Infinity Kappa Triaxials.

Stripped the doors and installed the brackets.

Door panel reinstalled.

Stock front grills were reinstalled.

6x9" Infinity Kappa triaxials were mounted in the rear. The rear speaker tunnels on the car were packed with acoustical fiberglass before installing the speakers.

Stock rear grills were reinstalled.

The end result is a system that is cleaner and more powerful than the stock system. All speakers sit behind the stock grills. The ability to play CDs and control the system with a cool remote are added bonuses.
